Nancy’s Distinctive Approach
RESTORES YOUR WHOLENESS...
I love to start clients on a path to recovery or “Return to Self” that provides the most fertile ground for change, using type and temperament as a guide. Tapping into signature strengths is like breaking a code or gathering “insider information”.
And it begins by rewriting the story about you that you tell yourself.
With laser-like focus and skill, Nancy will help you find and embrace your Essence – the unique blend of personality, temperament, interests, gifts and spirit that makes you who you are.

CLIENTS SERVED.
LIFELINE THERAPY provides guidance and support for individuals with varying needs and interests.
CAREER TRANSITION
Continually changing jobs and careers throughout a lifetime is the new norm. The average is about 10-15 job moves over your whole career.
I teach you how to process internal changes and harness favorite strengths to produce more satisfying, good-fit results.
LIFE TRANSITION
Change happens throughout our life. Sometimes it happens to us, and other times we elect to make changes to improve.
In either case, I help you evaluate options and identify how to use change as a valuable opportunity to grow.
RECOVERY TRANSITION
At LIFELINE THERAPY we focus on two areas of recovery:
-
Individuals looking for support in their self-help program of recovery from an addiction (e.g., drugs, alcohol, food).
-
Individuals looking for help navigating work/life issues associated with mental health challenges (e.g., anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADD).

Your Essence (the blend of personality, temperament, interests, gifts, and spirit) was and is exactly who you are meant to be...it's a matter of remembering it and bringing it forward. You might also have to locate a few parts of your essence left behind. Once you gather them up, you'll need to love your essence and bring it into a permanent place in your life.
Nancy’s message – that those with or affected by addiction need to strengthen themselves through discovery of their personality and essence - is needed in the world.
Ann W. Smith, MS, LPC, LMFT, Executive Director of Breakthrough at Caron, (a PA drug and alcohol treatment center)
Nancy is a compassionate and insightful coach. Her belief that everyone can find work that is meaningful to them and that harmonizes with one's core strengths is contagious and encouraging. She is a great antidote to career malaise.

I was looking ahead to a major transition – retirement - and initially filled with a jumble of conflicting emotions ranging from excitement to impending grief and sadness. Nancy helped me to tune in to my truest self and reshape my future by reconnecting with lifelong but dormant dreams, desires and goals.
M. W., Non-Profit Professional
From the first time we met, through the years of our coaching relationship, Nancy was a close and thoughtful listener. I felt quite the center of attention but not as if I were under a critical microscope. Rather, I felt like Nancy took real joy in noticing and pointing out my strengths to me, especially the ones I might have ignored for years and years.
